When you send a Gift Piggy, the recipient gets a special link along with a PIN to unlock it.
For better security, we recommend sharing the PIN through a separate channel (like text or call)—but you can send it together if needed.

Piggy works a bit differently—no traditional accounts or passwords. Everything is tied to a passkey. Once they enter the PIN and activate their Piggy with a passkey, they’re ready to go. Fast, safe, and fun.

You’ve got options! You can buy Bitcoin on most popular exchanges like Cash App, Strike, Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance. Once you’ve got your Bitcoin, just send it over to your Piggy Wallet using your Lightning Address or on-chain address.

Not yet - but we’re working on it! For now, you’ll need to purchase Bitcoin elsewhere (like an exchange or app that supports Lightning) and transfer it into your Piggy account.

Once the recipient activates the Gift Piggy, it’s final—you can’t cancel or take it back.
But if they haven’t activated it yet, and you still have the PIN, you can activate it yourself instead.

That’s why we strongly recommend sending the PIN separately from the link. If the email was wrong or shared by mistake, this extra step helps make sure you stay in control until it’s claimed.
